Our Funders

Rape Crisis Ireland (RCI) is grateful to the range of funders who support our work.

Government Funding

Cuan

Cuan became Rape Crisis Ireland’s main funder in 2025 amalgamating previous Victims of Crime and Dept. Of Justice funding streams.

POBAL

Pobal is a not-for-profit company that manages programmes on behalf of the Irish Government and the EU. Funding through the SSNO Grant programme helps fund RCNI core roles.

Department of Rural and Community Development

The Scheme to Support National Organisations is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Rural and Community Development.

RCNI’s other funding partners include:

Storm Technology

Rape Crisis Ireland have been in an ongoing award winning collaborative partnership with expert Microsoft business technology consultancy, Storm Technology, since 2005.

They have contributed generously over the years and have been integral to the development of the RCNI national knowledge and data collection system, thus supporting RCI in providing a groundbreaking evidence base for service delivery and policy change. The RCI database is recognised by the EU agency EIGE as best practice and in 2024 our collaboration won the iTag Excellence award for IT in the Community.

Castlebridge

Rape Crisis Ireland has been supported by our data protection specialist partners, Castlebridge, since 2017.

Castlebridge provide their expertise, policy insight, commitment and passion to us in our mission to protect survivor confidentiality and rights under Data Protection while ensuring we maximise the opportunities for them to be heard.
